A perfect milk tea is an herbal concoction with a warm, refreshing aroma and flavor.
Ingredients: 3 tablespoons fresh milk (milk tea is not considered milk)1 teaspoon salt, divided2 cups milk, divided4 cups white tea leaves, chopped3 cups sugar (you may add more if needed)2 tablespoons sugar (for sweetness)1 cup water1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)Directions: Pour 1/2 cup of the milk into a mug, add the salt, and pour in the tea leaves. Mix well.
Makes 2 cups.
To make a perfect milk Tea: Pour the milk tea into a saucepan and add the sugar, thyme, and cayne pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
Stir the tea until it dissolves and thickens.
Allow to cool and strain.
Make a thick paste using a fork.
It’s great for use on the floor.
Add the rest of the ingredients (the tea leaves and the sugar) and stir well.
